Overview:

  • Becoming a Christian is dependent on an individual's faith in Christ coupled with repentance, confession, and baptism.
  • Repentance requires recognizing and acknowledging sin in a person's life. Must make the decision to stop doing wrong and begin doing right.
  • The scriptural order of baptism must be according to the New Testament pattern.
  • An individual is not saved before being baptized.
